Since 2006, Swain County United Gift Fund has been making a difference in our community by conducting an annual fund drive to benefit small nonprofits serving our county. 100% of your gift goes to support local nonprofits that apply for grants each year!

Transforming lives through mentoring and supportive services for Swain County Youth.
Bryson City Food Pantry
Providing canned goods, staples and certificates for milk and bread to all individuals in need.
Providing the citizens of Swain County with access to resources for computer, educational, informational and recreational needs.
Ensuring that every pregnancy will be healthy and safe, and that every parent will have the necessary support needed during an unplanned pregnancy and parenting.
Helping to alleviate the suffering of abandoned, abused and homeless cats and dogs in Swain County. Working to transform local cultural norms so that human-animal bonding and neuter/spay become more widely practiced.
Providing restorative services for the mind, body and heart, and may include free medical care, free counseling, free food and temporary emergency housing.
Providing an environment for creating theatrical productions using local amateur talent.
Provides a last dollar tuition program in support of deserving students in Swain County, who wish to attend college.
Together We Raise
Providing funds for health, social and other community services, not covered by Medicaid or state funding, to children and adults within Swain County's Department of Social Services.
